infoC&D ChatBot Guidelines
  1. How to Use C&D ChatBot:
    • Click on the chat icon at the bottom-right to open the chat window.
    • Type your question in the input field at the bottom, or use the microphone icon to speak your query.
    • Press Enter or click the send button to submit your question and get an instant response.
  2. Refreshing Your Chat:
    • Click the refresh reset icon on the top right to clear the conversation and start a new chat.
  3. Minimize, Maximize & Close:
    • Use the - icon to minimize and the â–¡ icon to maximize the chat window as needed.
    • The × icon will close the chat and clear the session history.
  4. About the Microphone Feature:
    • Click the mic icon to activate voice input. You'll hear a beep sound when the bot is ready to listen.
    • Speak clearly in English into your device's microphone.
    • After you finish speaking, your words will appear in the input field and the bot will ask for confirmation.
    • Click Yes to send the message or Try again to record again.
    • This feature is supported in Google Chrome and Edge browsers.
  5. Source & Connectivity:
    • C&D ChatBot is connected to SharePoint and other enterprise knowledge sources to answer your queries.
    • Responses are instant, using the latest available information.
    • When an answer is provided from a document, you can click on the document link in the reference section to view it.
  6. Additional Guidelines:
    • For best results, keep your questions specific and clear.
    • Some advanced queries may provide reference links or document sources for further reading.
    • If you experience issues, refresh the chat or contact IT support.
    • All conversations are confidential and not stored after the session ends.
